Borealis Dance Theatre is excited to create a space for young dance artists to find their artistic voice through the Amplified Artists Program. Under direction of Artistic Director, Danielle Ricci Cheng, this program fosters advanced dancers 16-20 years of age to train and perform original work around the Twin Cities. Opportunities include class, choreography labs for dancers’ creative work, public showings, and ensemble rehearsals lead by Cheng for performances around the Twin Cities.
The 2026-27 Season includes a performance from BDT Repertoire at the Southern Theatre in Minneapolis, March 4-6. Art-a-Whirl at the Grain Belt Bottling House May 14-16 and other site specific performances through the season.
Rehearsals will be held at Turning Pointe Dance Studio in Eagan, MN Sundays from 5:30-8:30. The season begins September 13, 2026 and continues through end of May 2027. There is a $40 monthly participation fee. There are no extra costs for performances.
